Four
reasons why an uninsured motorist could be
irritating
If your
vehicle meets with an accident with another,
the first thing you do is get down inspect
the damage and speak to the driver of the
other vehicle. The communication is
important because here you would try to take
out the insurance details from the motorist.
But, what if you come across an uninsured
motorist? Really, encountering an accident
with an uninsured motorist is a very tough
matter to deal with.
On one hand, you may be rushing to catch up
with an important meeting, and on the other
you have this pesky an uninsured motorist,
who had absolutely no business to be on the
road.
Here’s why an uninsured motorist could be
irritating even for those who follow the
rules:
• Scant respect for traffic rules – In a
survey done, it was found that about 80% of
the signal breakers were uninsured
motorists. Clearly, some laws should be made
to rein them in.
• No respect for their lives – The way some
of these an uninsured motorists ride, it
seems as they are on a road for self
destruction. Or, it seems they have a point
to prove. Even in a busy city road, they
wouldn’t mind stepping on to the gas
frequently.
• No respect for lives of others – Most of
these an uninsured motorists forget that
apart from risking their lives, they also
risk the lives of fellow motorists, who are
taken for a ride for no fault of theirs.
This is probably one of the most irritating
aspects of an uninsured motorist.
• The other driver’s vehicle is also at risk
– Obviously, when two vehicles are on the
road, the first interaction (Physically),
would be between the vehicles. That’s why it
is so important for an uninsured motorist to
get covered. Just in case they meet with an
accident with another vehicle, their
insurance cover could easily meet the
financial damages caused to the other
vehicle.
Every accident your vehicle meets is an
unfortunate incident for sure. That being
said, there could be some things you can
take care of, from your end, to reduce
accidents caused due to an uninsured
motorists. Probably, you could speak to your
friends who aren’t insured or whose vehicles
aren’t insured and advise them to go for an
insurance cover.
Probably, you could demonstrate to others on
how an insurance cover saved a potentially
troublesome situation for you. An uninsured
motorist is probably a great danger to
himself, more than being of danger to
someone else.
